Good job, nails turned out fine. The atmosphere when we entered felt unwelcoming and unpleasant, the ladies hardly greeted and when they said "hello" it felt incredibly unenthusiastic. The lady at reception was not very nice nor professional as when we phoned to inform them of our tardiness they did not mention a late fee would be charged (we understand that a late fee is common however you should always be informed as not all places charge them.) They did not inform us the fee would be added to our cost until after we discussed the price, they were just going to charge us the amount without informing us. The service was good however customer service and care could be improved.

I always enjoy my experience at the Pink Room. The vibe is so comfortable, the music is on point, the service is great and the treatment is soft. This has got to be the best place I have done my nails in Johannesburg. Just make sure to book in time if you can, they are very popular.

I’ve been coming to this nail salon every month since last Oct/Nov year and the service has never disappointed. Most recently, I had my nails done by Loveness on the 6th of May 2025 and they’re still in great condition weeks later! We did a glossy black sharp almond set and a pop of red underneath the tips (like red bottom Louboutin shoes) and I absolutely love how it turned out. Loveness always pays attention to detail and the salon has even introduced me to rubber base nails, which have genuinely helped my natural nails grow longer and stronger. I believe it’s Faith that did my gel pedicure in classic black gloss and I was just as impressed. From the front desk to the nail technicians, everyone is always friendly, welcoming and professional. My nails are consistently well taken care of and the quality of the products used here is top-tier.

I booked an appointment at The Pink Room online to have my tape in extensions removed. I've never even heard of them but decided to give them a try as the pricing was very competitive. I was wonderfully amazed when I walked into this glorious pink establishment, with beautiful neon signs and pink from floor to ceiling. The staff are so friendly and I really enjoyed my time there and can't wait to book more of their treatments.

I was really excited to experience what all the hype was about, but unfortunately, my visit fell short of expectations. While Tati and Keisha were both professional and pleasant, I found the overall experience to be disorganized and lacking the professionalism expected from such a popular establishment. Despite booking in advance for both myself and my mom, we waited about 10–20 minutes before being assisted. We had existing product on our nails and weren’t exactly sure what service to book, so we scheduled a fill and tried reaching out via phone beforehand for clarity—unfortunately, no one responded. The payment system is outdated, still relying on handwritten receipt books which then have to be manually taken to the receptionist. This not only slows down the process but also feels inefficient, especially for a business with such a large clientele. On top of that, having to tip separately for even the smallest purchases, like a bottle of water, felt excessive. My mom felt underwhelmed by the results of her initial nail service, and when we asked if she could get a color added over the poly, we were told there wasn’t enough time—despite having 30 minutes left in the appointment. Thankfully, the owner recognized our dissatisfaction and offered to have the nails redone, which was appreciated. However, the redo extended our visit to nearly 5 hours, which was quite a strain on our day. While the owner's gesture was thoughtful, I’d strongly recommend that management revisit how client appointments are managed and how staff communicate and prioritize customer time and experience. With such a strong reputation and client base, investing in more efficient systems and improving communication could go a long way in elevating the overall experience. Unfortunately, despite the efforts of a few great staff members, I won’t be returning.

Absolutely love this place. It's every girls dream spot. You can get your hair, nails, lashes and waxes done. And finish it all up with a massage if needed.

I recently visited The Pinkroom for my monthly maintenance, and I had such a fun experience! The nails were done perfectly, as always. Noma took care of my eyebrows, and she did a flawless job! She also did my Hollywood wax, which was surprisingly relaxing and virtually painless—definitely the best wax I’ve had. The only downside was that I wasn’t able to buy any of the exfoliating products I wanted after my wax. On a positive note, I treated myself to some waffles with ice cream and a cappuccino, which were both delicious! Overall, another amazing visit, and I can’t wait to go back!

Tati is amazing! I’ve loved her from the start. From when I discovered the Pink Room back in March last year. She always does amazing work. I’ve really been traumatized by other nail salons and she has supported my nail journey all the way! She shapes them to my liking, measures them, asks my opinion all the time! Her communication with me is exceptional and I love that! Every client should be able to voice their opinion on their preferred nail outcome. Tati always listens to me and is patient which is what I LOVE. Best believe I’ll be there for EVERY nail appointment.

I did my nails on the 13th of March, it was an acrylic sculpture. They started breaking a week later. The nail tech (Manono) was kind and apologised. However, there was no accountability. Can’t fault her though as it could different reasons for breaking. So I went again to do another set. Love it! The nail techs’ service was great, kept on checking if I was satisfied with my nails (which I was). However, the overall service of the salon is inconsistent. First time I went no complimentary drink was offered, second visit it was. And third visit no complimentary drink was offered. Overall, I would recommend them. And yes, I would go back.

Had an appointment with Tati. We started a bit late but what an awesome set of nails. Tati is meticulous and really heard what I wanted and delivered over and above. I asked for a cherry design and she added some additional detail by making them 3D. I am extremely happy with my nails and will definitely be going to Tati in future.
